FUNDOSA GROUP
Grupo Fundosa was founded in 1989. It is a subsidiary of Fundación ONCE and its mission is to directly or jointly manage, along with other economic agents, the training and employment programmes, which are the Foundation's main activities. At the same time, it also strives to obtain profits in order to be self-sufficient.
Its single shareholder is the Foundation and acts as an Instrumental company either directly or jointly with other economic agents.
The Fundosa Group is present in five areas of activity: the industrial sector, technology products and services, the services sector, socio-sanitary products and accessibility. It presently groups together 34 fully owned companies, including the parent company, as well as 36 companies in which it holds a shareholding. It has a total of 176 work centres located throughout Spain and employs more than 11,600 workers. Seventy-one per cent of these workers are disabled.
Following the general trends characteristic of the Spanish economy in which the tertiary sector predominates, service companies constitute the mostsignificant part of the companies comprising The Fundosa Group. |
